Hello All,
im a beginner and i have a question on setting up the release in Zebra.
When i change the release to its maximum in Massive, play a note and then take it back then the release will fade out at once.
When i do the same in Zebra there is no fadeout. Zebra plays the release until its end regardless of any changes to the release? How can i change this so there is a reaction that means a fadeout when i move the release knob back?
Thanks in advance,

This was necessary back in the days to save cpu... hmmm... we might eventually change that behaviour... hmmm...

i experimented a bit more and found a way now to implement the exact Massive behavior in Zebra.
First i learned that the Basic envelope modules parameter dont affect notes that are already played. If you want to achieve this (like it is done with the basic envelopes in massive) just use the MSEG and route it for example to the volume / filter cutoff etc. With this you can reduce the attack and release and the already played notes will be affected as well if you change the parameters of the envelope.
Performance is a good argument, since im a beginner i dont know if there are situations where the behavior of the basic envelope modules are more useful.
The advantage of them is basically that if you change their parameters it will only affect notes that are played after the change and not the already playing ones. I think that might be useful too??
It also may be a feature
