Since September will be the start of possibly my favorite season, I suggest that the patch contest would be something autumnal.

Hmm.. don't really know, but it most certainly have a feel.
....and we can recreate that feel most likely within pads.. atmos... sequences with effect trails or something.

Making a synth patch that sounds like autumn feels seems a rather nebulous concept to me, but if enough people like the idea...

How about an ACE vs Zebra explosion contest

You make your best explosion sound effect on ACE, and then one on Zebra.

As for the existing suggestions, +1 for an ACE contest.

I just finished another demo for ACE, i was going thru some new presets here and recorded the midi on the fly.

The only patch that is made by me is LUSH PAD 1

It looks like an ACE contest is in the offing. That being the case I think that, rather than just another freestyle affair (as the last two have been), it would be good to specify a particular theme or genre of patch.

point.source has suggested "Drones or Pads". My suggestion: patches that would fall into the "Modular Madness" category. Any other ideas?
