Thank's Andrew - Yes, tons of other stuff, horns, celli, vocals, sequences, pads, so many soundscapes and plenty of otherworldy stuff, just dig a little deeper :)

Just browsing around more of the patches this morning.. the vocals are fantastic also. The set completely opens up the palette of what you can do with Alchemy, this is a first rate collection, and it is loaded with imagination... beautifully recorded also.

"Violin Flautato Pad" remix #7 holding a D chord is absolutely sublime. I could get stuck there unless I force myself to move on...
but I will try some sequences... :)

getting stuck can be very inspiring, don't move on for now :)

my left hand is getting tired from holding this chord... and typing with one hand isn't so easy... :)

Yes me too - been doing the same, getting some very Messiaenic sounds

there's also a lovely sweet spot just a bit down from snap 4 (start in snap 4 and travel down slowly towards snap 8 - it's about 2-3mm down roughly) - try holding it on a low chord and listen to it as resonances emerge

After the second hour, the D chord becomes even more beautiful...

This is what I love about Alchemy (and Kore 2) - you literally get dozens of sounds out of just one patch (not just the 8 variations but all those sublime in between spots)

the movement in the phrase endings is gorgeous particularly with a little adjustment of the modulation sources

I really wish I had poly aftertouch for this set

I really like how you guys get into the details of these sounds, spending all those hours/weeks creating the patches and even more hours/weeks to do the snaps this kind of feedback means a lot to me :)

Yes, polyphonic aftertouch yields great results, I never program it into my Banks because not many Midi Controllers/Keyboards actually have that feature.

I am still stuck on the strings, I have to confess. They are abstract and absolutely clear at the same time... just gorgeous

I haven't even tried a horn or piano yet

Just take your time with Alchemistry Beyond, abuse that sustain pedal and explore the Performance Controllers and snaps in the Remix Pad, then after a few days move on to Alchemistry and check out what's hidden in there :)
