I just got the latest Musician's Friend catalog today (it's dated September 2011, Eddie Van Halen is on the cover), and on page 116 they have BFD Eco for $29.00 US. It isn't showing at that price on the website, though. I don't know if the website hasn't been updated yet, or if the price only applies to catalog orders. It's a good way to get some of BFD's sounds, and have a player for all the expansions out there without shelling out the money for the full program.

That's interesting. Thanks. If it came with electronic delivery I'd jumped on this immediately (since I'm in germany).Musician's Friend catalog today (it's dated September 2011, Eddie Van Halen is on the cover), and on page 116 they have BFD Eco for $29.00
Anyone found this online? I did not so far.

Still not on their website. I don't know if they do international orders from the catalog; if so, I could probably scan the page and the orderform.MountainKing wrote:That's interesting. Thanks. Sonic Couture is discontinuing their "Abstrakt Bass" product on September 20. Until then, they're blowing it out for $15 / 10Euro. It's a 1.6GB Kontakt library with synth, electric and acoustic basses. The demos sound like it's focused on the weirder side of the fence, but that may just be because Sonic Couture is a little on the weird side overall... Sounds like a great deal, anyway. I don't know how much this package was selling for recently, but at introduction in 2006 it was apparently 80 British pounds.
I assume buying this would qualify you to download one of their "Exclusive Content" packages too. The website is inconsistent about whether you get to choose the free package or not, but if the decision is made for you, it will be the Devilfish TB-303 library, which would give you another 1GB of synth basses...

The Xpansion Tank 2 packs are $15 apiece and Buy-2-Get-1-Free on esoundz.com.
https://www.esoundz.com/news1.php?nbr=6019
On the other hand, it seems like they SHOULD be Buy-1-Get-2-Free on IKMultimedia.com, since I can't find anything saying they don't qualify for the on-going 15th Anniversary Group Buy... that would be a killer deal if true, but don't quote me.

Xpansion Tank libraries bought from IK directly qualify for the group buy (e.g. I bought four and already picked one freebie for each, plus I expect another set of freebies when 5000 users are reached), plus you get 5€ worth of jam points for each pack you buy. If you plan to use the jam points this results in 2.33€ per pack ((12€ - 5€)/3) or similar in $.
