Super thank you for the quick update!! :-) Now it works swell in vst-mode and all settings can be saved. This is a truly fantastic plug-in!

It really is. I'm stunned!

This feature allows you to load random effect setups for even
more fun and devastating sounds!
That's good news. Though, after having tried it out, I really would like the effects to become set to muted after pressing the default button. Now they all get set to on and there's a cacophony of sounds. Being able to try each sound out I have to mute them first. In a live situation it's also inconvenient with all sounds set to on when pressing randomize. Maybe you could consider a setting of how Turnado should behave after a randomize. Thoughts?

Getting great result from Turnado here.

Would kill for a Multiband version with adjustable crossovers and ability to route FX knobs per band. I suppose I could do this myself with a bandsplitter though..

Maybe this is what you are looking for:

This is my current 'fun too' plug in. Mad. I'm inspired :)

Today I used Turnado the first time during a live gig twisting all sorts of live instrument like cello, sax, drums and speech signals with it. I had 8 Controllers assigned to the 8 modules and frequently used one preset during the show which I had programmed for the gig. Next to various Reaktor ensembles and GRM Tools this thing is the ultimate live twister. Bravo Sugar Bytes!

(tbh i haven't read the manual yet)

i have a problem in sonar x1. if i use dictator settings, after pressing stop on the transport, some effects (mainly looper effects) play on infinitely.

how can i turn that off?
Finally!

@ Sampleconstruct Show off ;)

@All In all seriousness and this might be one for Sugarbytes support. I've been setting up various templates for future tracks mainly using Maschine as a midi controller (but could be anything for this issue). Set up everything fine for the 8 main rotary knobs, mute and dry/wet mix. As soon as I try to midi learn on the dictator module in Turnado, it crashes (serious error alert). This is working in Win7 on desktop using standalone.

Thanks if anyone can help hear...it's a goto now in the rig ;•)

@Sugarbytes Are you releasing anymore products between now and when the $50 voucher expires?

@all What do you peeps recommend. Considering WoW but I have more filters than a cigarette factory! Need some recommendations without doubling up on what i've got.

Peace

@cyphersuit
note that the effects are active as long as the main knobs are turned on.
You have to turn off the knobs (or the dictator).
There is also a hidden feature to turn off the knobs when the sequencer stops.
To activate it click into the 'O' from the Off label in the setting screen.
(no warranty ;))
@MFXxx
I think the crash related to the dictator midi remote was fixed with the 1.0.1 version.

There will be no new product releases until end of august (when the voucher expires)

Hi,

i have a (to be honest) a stupid problem. Everytime when i press the play / stop button in Cubase 6 all knobs of Turnado (1.0.1) resets, is this normal? I try to make some changes in the settings but nothing work. :?:

meanwhile i am using studio one v 2.5.1. the hidden "o" option is gone or not working in S1V2.5...

i can record single effect automation, but when i record in dictator mode, only silence gets recorded.
Finally!

The hidden feature is now the offical option 'Turn Off Knobs On Host Stop'.
What do you mean with SILENCE is recorded ?
Is the motion of the dictator recorded or not ?

Robert

Post

No it isnt but i selected dictator as automation target.

To make it clear:

I have a Nexus sound (playing midi). Pressing play i can hear it.

adding turnado i can hear turnados effects

I can add dictator control as a automation track, play it back and the wav sounds turnado'd alright. The knobs move.

But if i bounce to audio i only get silence, no audio. If i deactive turnado, bouncing works and i get Nexus audio without Turnado effects.
Finally!
