MDrummer : Is it possible to control bar start time ?

Hello,

I am a recent user of Mdrummer and I use it with Ableton Live.

I would like to know if it's possible to control beat start time (without stopping / restarting Live whole song)?

I often perform my Live sets with quantization < 1/4 and i would like to be able to control the start time of a mdrummer loop when i press a keyboard (or other) note. Currently Mdrummer remembers the last position on bar and continue to play starting from it (it's useful too but the freedom to be able to control bar start ime would be useful for me too, for scene purposes and to play with others).

I don't really understand what you are trying to accomplish. MDrummer is always in sync with your host.

I try to be more understandable : I want to be able to start (the beginning of ) a beat with a 1/4 quantization, by example (It seems that mdrummer is always synced with a 1 bar quantization)

Aaaaha, I'm afraid that won't be possible. There are technical reasons for that. It's really hard to make the MIDI command system work with 1 bar sync, with 1/4 sync it is essentially impossible.
