okay now I have measured just about everything in the house with my new calipers I have discovered one thing I didn't know. When I bought my warmoth strat of course it was from someone who had the parts already and I put it together but all this was done for a store I worked at...however when it didn't sell the boss MADE me buy it for what I paid for it (stupid cheap).
When I got my baritone neck I ordered the standard thin because the wizard is not available for baritone necks. I always assumed the neck on the strat was a standard thin but I had my doubts when I got the baritone. Well it turns out the strat is .790" and the baritone is .845" or for you metric people 20mm and about 21.5 mm (all measurements taken at the 12th fret) and the Ibanez Wizard is 20mm at the 12th fret. So the strat has teh wizard
The new esp/ltd with the neck thru comes in at .860" or 21.84mm and the daion comes in at .947" or 24.05mm also a neck thru.
Of the 4 tbh my favorite is the ltd/esp but much of that has to do with the neck thru...I would prefer the wizard thickness if I had my druthers but since getting the esp in Feb and the truth is I play that more than anything right now. (I have not measured my other guitars because they are in the cases locked away and I'm lazy) I'll pull the jackson kelly out later
