ACE patch cable setting bug...

Hi,

Just picked up ACE (amazing synth) and I've found what appears to be a bug with ACE's ability to remember my choice of how to display its patch cables.

I chose to display the patch cables as 'slim and see thru'. All worked fine for a while, however I noticed when I loaded a preset that I had downloaded from the patch lib (PWM Bass from http://www.u-he.com/PatchLib/presets/ac ... ps_ACE.zip) the cables reverted to 'thick and solid'.

After some snooping around it appears the file 'com.u-he.ACE.UIprefs' is getting corrupted. If I delete the file, load up ACE (32-bit version) in my sequencer (Reaper 4beta 32-bit, running in Windows 7 64-bit) and choose 'slim and see thru' for the cables and exit Reaper the above config file is created as :-

If I now fire up Reaper and load ACE, go to the 'patch' tab and navigate to the above preset (this may well happen with other presets I've yet to check) and play a note, then go back to the 'synth' tab, the cables have reverted to 'solid and thick'. If I close Reaper and now open up that prefs file it appears as :-

Seems an 'id' label gets set to 1 initially then changed to 0 when I load a certain preset. If I close Reaper, change it to 1, re-open Reaper then ACE I get my 'slim and see thru' cables back!!!

As I wrote above I discovered the problem whilst browsing presets, however it seems ACE is defaulting to 'thick and solid' every other time I open it after restarting my sequencer (Reaper 4-RC4). So the cycle is as follows :-

01.Open Reaper, load ACE, set to 'slim and see thru' [patch cables now how I want them]. Close Reaper.
02.Open Reaper, load ACE, connect a cable [patch cables still slim and see thru]. Close Reaper.
03.Open Reaper, load ACE, connect a cable [uh-oh, cables have reverted to 'thick and solid'], set to 'slim and see thru' again. Close Reaper.
04.Go to step 02 and repeat!

This cycle seems 100% repeatable on my machine now.

One last question regarding the patch cables. It seems if I set them to colours of my choice, then close ACE's GUI, then re-open the GUI, the patch cables have changed colour. Is this by design?!

Just to point out, Bazille 0.4 remembers my patch cable settings as it should - if that's any help!
