ok sorry for this question but is this velocity sm working on sonar? just downloaded it but it shows up as vsti only... any ideas how to use it?

I've tried installing this plugin in Cubase 3 sx as well as Cubase 5, placing the .dll in the VST folder.

It doesn't show up as an audio insert plugin or a midi insert plugin .

Would someone be able to advice me how to install this plugin and get it to work with cubase?

I have since received an email from the gentleman who wrote the plugin and apparently Cubase isn't a good host for this plugin. I am focusing my efforts into getting a better controller with velocity scaling instead of trying to fix the problem in software.

Wish I understood exactly what this thing does! Does it pickup on the nuances of your keyboard playing and make it sound more dynamic?
