Congrats to the winners, well deserved!
My track could have done a bit better I guess, but 8th place isn't bad, to be honest I did hope for a Cakewalk prize but anyway :D who didn't ?

Many thanks to who did vote for my track, I was starting to think that everyone is voting for each other and kinda' ignoring the new contestants. :P

Thanks for the comments and feedback on my track as well!
C ya around. :)
Cheers,
3ee

3ee, yours was my favorite for a half the month, then I decided on the others, but you were #6 on my list. Perhaps if you added another minute of your pure bliss, you'd be at #1 or #2.

By the way, i forgot this.
Doc Jon wrote:IrionDaRonin - Genesis - let's face it, it's hard not to give points to Irion these days as all his tracks are excellent, but this month the competition was just so strong. Well constructed and excellent choice of sounds as always (apart from the harsh lead at 0:52 - ouch!)
Thanks for the comment, pal. And again congratulations for the first prize.

Yeah, i wasn't aware about the harsh lead until day 2th of this month, so i couldn't upload a proper entry later due the rules.

This is what happens when you have a low CPU and you can't make a track properly in real time, listening all the frecuencies, EQizing in real time, and only listening cracklings and CPU pain screams :(

I hope all this will finish this month with the new computer, i'm very upset about having these problems in each OSC.
To bounce into waves/samples is a pain in the ass, really. So i need an easy going workflow, fast and precise at same time.

If i'm getting to much time making a track, i usually feeling bored about it and i drop it into oblivion. That's why i have about 1000 basis (unfinished tracks) in my hard disc and other 1500 on old DVDs. Not exagerating.

Anyway, the votes has finished, so i uploaded a downloadable Genesis track without the lead, so all of you who liked the song could have a better version.
Sorry about this. Here goes. :)

Irion Da Ronin - Genesis (enhanced version)
The link will be here until i change my computer next week.

Have a good day and thanks to all for your votes and listening to my track. :)

Hey Irion, as you know I used to have the same problem. Even with a 6 core CPU, I still have to bounce occasionally, and still can get pops and crackles... you can still get stutters, etc, trust me, even with the best CPU's (especially with z3ta). The best thing is to plan out the song the best you can and bounce things ASAP. Get used to bouncing, even memorize the keyboard shortcuts, and practice it.

Maybe your speed is the thing here... maybe you must slow down a bit, and be ready to bounce, etc?

With a 6 core and still bouncing? WTH? :-o

Well, i could be ready to bounce, etc. But as i said, i need to make tracks more or less fast, or i would get bored about the track, no inspired, no motivated, and i drop the track into the oblivion.
That's why i need fast workflow.

Let's see how goes the new AMD3 Phenom 2 Quad Core 955 Blackbox with the new memory RAM and the Asus motherboard...

Have a good day :)

Congratulations puny humans Doc, Bzur and Irion, your efforts were impressive (for carbon based life forms anyway). I look forward to crushing your fragile bones beneath the hardened superstructure of my armored heel.
