Hello,

I have 2 questions about MStereoProcessor:

1. Can it be used while mastering? After all, it doesn't destroy monocompatibility.
2. If it can be used while mastering and a typical mastering chain looks like this:

Compressor --> EQ --> limiter

Where should I put the MStereoProcessor?

I'd suggest to put it early in the chain. If you use the exciters etc it'll add lots off transients. Maybe Vojtech will suggest you something else ;)

Oh it can "mess" with mono compatibly. As any full featured stereo enhancer should if abused.
Keep your eye on the phase scope & learn what to listen for.

This is my current ITB chain (usually)
mautoequalizer
mstereoprocessor
mmultibandtransient
mmultibanddynamics
FX-G

Agree ;), but I'd use MDynamicsLimiter or MMultiBandLimiter instead of FX-G :D

But note that all the dynamic processors after the MStereoProcessor may change the stereo somehow (compressors usually make it tighter).
