Hello,
I use a Korg NanoKontrol. Great little controller. Anyway i've noticed if the USB cable gets unplugged from the Receptor, i can't just plug it back in. I have to reboot the Receptor. I'm guessing this behavior isn't specific to the NanoKontrol but for USB devices in general. Anyone else experience this? Or anyone have a workaround instead of rebooting?
Thanks!

Yep, there is some active-handshake that Receptor does with USB keyboards during boot-up. This handshake doesn't necessarily happen on the fly, whenever a USB device is un/re-plugged. Midi devices (on the other hand) don't need this kind of handshake.
I wrote on a different thread about a new device (called iConnectMidi) that works with USB Hubs to connect multiple USB devices. I use this for the best of both worlds: It is able to handshake USB devices on the fly going into the iConnectMIDI, and I use the MIDI port between the iConnectMidi and Receptor (such that it handles unplugging/replugging as well).
Hope this helps,
Kevin L

Thanks! This seems a little strict. But now that i know, i can be careful of doing this on stage and having everyone stare at me while i troubleshoot. I saw your iConnectMidi post, i just use one USB connection and one Midi DIN connection so doesn't really make sense in my case.
