Finally the day has come!
I've been loving Triple Cheese for a while now, just because I've wanted in on the whole u-he world, but haven't had the money to buy in.
Well, I've finally put together enough to purchase Zebra! Heading over to the u-he website right now to make my purchase.
So happy.. just had to share it with someone.

Amen to that... hope you have lots of happy and rewarding hours with it. Just don't forget your friends, lovers, cats and armadillos... they might not be as understanding as we are here!arbee wrote:congrats on the purchase. you're going to have lots of fun... discovering zebra is a never ending project

Thanks for the replies.
Purchase all made, and we are now in the Zebra camp. After using Triple Cheese for so long, Zebra feels quite like second nature.
@Howard - How DID you guess my name? Checked the u-he purchase records for last night?
On a side note, it's odd there doesn't seem to be much love for the humble Triple Cheese around here. I've found it to be a brilliant synth, and remarkably versatile. It has such a distinctive sound.

Agree. All the OSC-FX and Filter explanations are LOVELY, really helps a lot.Howard wrote:When you start using the manual as reference and need to jump around a lot, use the links at the bottom of each page.
Btw welcome in Zebra, you won't regret it.

I found the tutorial at the begininng of the manual all I needed to get a great start.
I share your excitement. I just got Zebra this week and I haven't been this excited about software since Windows95 came out

You know it's really interesting the way that Zebra shows its potential to you. It can be a knob-turning "tweak and laugh" fiddle session where you just go for it and see what happens, or if can be a totally modular and intellectual experience if you really want to calculate a sound. Left brain sound construction vs. Right brain sound construction! When you're in the Zebra zone it's easy to forget that the one synth is actually allowing you to do it either way you like.
