This is a fantastic piece of music in it's own right. It also happens to show one of my favorite synths in a very positive light. :tu:
Thanks Justin! I hoped that you'd like it! :)
Bazille is an awesome synth! I can't wait for the final version! But it's nice to have this alpha version too! Since there are no effects I had to find ways to fake a phaser, a delay and so on! It was a great learning experience :)

It really reminds me of Android Lust, but I like this more.
I would seriously buy an album of this vibe - This is totally blowing my mind...

I've gotta get my hands into Bazille at some point. I'm all dirty with Zebra, but you've inspired me now!

Thanks! :)
I guess my mission is completed now, I was able inspire a person to try out Bazille :)

Thanks again for the great feedback :)
I made huge progress today! I designed some new patches and assigned modwheel and aftertouch to all percussion patches (even kicks etc). This means thet _EVERY_ patch in this bank will use modwheel, velocity and aftertouch :)

Then I needed a short break from sound design and set up the oscilloscope on all the percussion patches :hihi:

Like this kick for example:

Every percussion preset now fits _EXACTLY_ on the screen when you play C3 :hihi:
That's completely useless but maybe it improves the general "feel" of the soundbank at least a bit :hihi:

TBTH ~ My background and main "passion" is in sound editing... I want to SEE the sounds "form" with an "oscilloscope". Seems something is missing without one, NOW.

So spoiled are we 8)
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

And somehow the sounds seem to sound better with a nice visualization :hihi:

TOTALLY!!!

It's like eating with your nose plugged versus not plugged.

BTW: There will be some (a lot actually) drum sounds in this bank! I've seen many banks which just add drum sounds as "Look!!! This synth can do drum sounds too" thingys. That won't be the case here. I'm trying to design some nice, usable drum sounds since drum sounds are one of the biggest strengths of Bazille imo :)
I'm trying to avoid 23842340234 similar sounding kicks etc. though.
Every sound will be unique (At least I hope so).

very nice demo! love the sounds, interesting and fresh. ah, bazille!

I do have it and I absolutely loved the few times I've spent with it, but because of that I am afraid to use it any further. what if I don't have enough cash when it's finally out and I am already addicted?!

anyway, really nice sounds :tu:

Yes it will be hard without Bazille! I hope I'll be able to afford it!

Really good music track and sounds here.
Production work is good too.

I don't know what the hell I'm doing in Bazille.
Take a wire here, there, spaghetti mess...oh
it's making noise, so I must be on the right track here.
That's a pretty good example of my time with it.

Good stuff! Very bazilloid! :)

(I was a bit distracted by other stuff, hence I'm late to chime in  )

Here is a small demo of some of the bass sounds in this bank :)

They all play the same boring pattern over and over :hihi:
Some with some modwheel action though.
