Receptor 2+ PRO going directly into MacBook PRO running Garageband ?

I have a Receptor 2+ PRO and I was wondering if there was a way to record direct into my MacBook PRO laptop running Garageband (as in not using an
audio interface hooked up to the MAC) ...

I guess my question then is : can I use the USB port on Receptor to send the audio signal directly into the USB port on my laptop ? Or is there another way to do this ?

Or do I need to get an audio interface after all ?

Hi Dan,

You might consider using Uniwire. Uniwire allows you to connect your host software (like GarageBand, as long as it can host Audio Unit or VST plugins) to connect to a Receptor over an ethernet connection.
