Zebra Not Saving Presets

Hi,

For some reason my copy of Zebra has stopped saving presets. I'm running Logic 9, OS 10.6.6.

In the log I see the following...

Which would indicate a permissions problem, however I have just repaired permissions and checked the u-he preset direction and it's set to read/write/execute for all users!?

Can anyone shed any light on this, it's really frustrating!

Note also that Zebra doesn't pop up any kind of error when this is happening, it just doesn't save. This caused me to lose a bunch of work presuming it was saving OK when it wasn't!!

Sheesh. Repairing Permissions must have taken Zebra's ability to save to MacHD/Library/... I really wonder why Apple would prevent users from saving presets there (and yet allow their own apps to do so)

Please try to run the Zebra installer again. It does have a script that adds write permissions to Zebra's preset directory.

I'll furthermore put a better warning on the todo list, like we have on Windows.

Thanks Urs, that seems to have fixed it.

I also noticed another minor bug in that when re-saving patches that have a new line in the info fields you actually see '\n' on re-saving the patch and the more you save the more backslashes seem to get added!
