Audjoo Helix always gets mentioned when low CPU is desired:

linplug morphox http://www.linplug.com/Instruments/MorphoX/morphox.htm

no patch uses more then 2/3 cpu

LennarDigital Sylenth1 has a very low cpu print.

kHs ONE appears to be very light even on the "full on" patches. Max about 10 or 11% (according to Reaper) on a Core i5.

That is not quite true. I have make some patches what eat 40% on my Q9550. Maxium voices, long release and chord notes = cpu hungry. :(

The original impOSCar and Oddity both had great sound and low CPU. Haven't tried the new impOSCar.

Korg's Legacy collection also has low CPU.

10/11 cpu on an i5 is quite a bit of cpu. wo freeze. that means in order to run just 8 synths of khs one, you only have 20 percent cpu left for fx processing.

Hmmm strange.. it is widely praised for its low cpu consumption as I can recall because of it's highly optimized code

All those reviews must be wrong then :-o

im confused about this one, it usess 10-11 cpu in reaper no less, and on an i5? im not sure if this should be added to the list? what do others think?

2/3 cpu? 66%? Is it really low CPU?
Wonder whether my advice worth a penny? Check my music at Soundcloud and decide for yourself.
