Hi folks,

there was a little break, because some further development have been in progress. So now we have great new nonresonant filters, autoattack, up to 120db/oct HP/LP and some more... ;)

Please check it out and let me know and the official release should be this week!

Works very good over here! (OSX 10.6.8 in Live 8.2.2) I like the new additions:

- deactivated bands are grayed out
- displayed HP/LP values
- new shelving filters
- 120dB/oct...crazy. Not sure if ever needed but cool!

Testing more...

Hi, I'm really happy you went for the high-low slopes

I have a request about these;

From these slopes, can you make a "tilt band"? I do this with mfreeformeq, its easy with those controls but mfreeformanalogeq can't do a tilt like these slopes can do...being able to do this with just 1 band would be really cool.

I'll be testing more but everything seems fine and I'll be waiting for the manual cause this eq became a monster since I last checked and don't want to bore you with basic questions :D

Oh and when introduction price is arranged, please do share as soon as possible

Ok, what exactly is "tilt band"?

Google; tilt eq :)

These are separatly prepared eq's, users can to it with 2 shelves on any eq but your eq design is most probably capable of doing this with only 1 band (with new slope option).

(thinking of: it actually does it with 1 band but gain adjustment is a pain)

Come on man, you request something and cannot even tell me what you want? :x

I did google it, but nothing selfexplanatory came in...

I wonder how it's supposed to be implemented in an EQ with several bands, especially dynamic EQlike this one. Besides that: What for? Why not use the free TAL tilt EQ or the free Elysia one? Also toneboosters have this free EZQ (which is quiet cool).

Come on folks, what is that? Seems to me like just 2 shelfs, one for bass, one for treble. That wouldn't even be worth doing as you can just make 2 shelfs and make a multiparameter control gain of both.

Really? That simple? :D Ok, that makes this solved I guess :D.

oh sorry maybe because of different countrys results vary...

Tilt eq is simply 2 shelves (high and low) controlled by 1 knob to make the sound darker or brighter.

usually these shelves meeting point is around 700 hz to 1 khz. I use it to make songs sometimes fatter or to compansate bad monitoring.

The meeting points of 2 shelves are very important and as far as I know no one released a variable one.

For example on how I use mfreeformeq for tilt. When needed I simply place control point at 1 khz and adjust dark/brightness. Then try lowerig or increasing that control point left-right to see if I can make it sound sweeter or more balanced (usually I don't end-up with 1 khz).

My request for using slopes is to get better (flatter; from 20 hz ot 20 khz-which is hard to get in analog word or normal plug-in eq's) curve than 2 shelve eq's and it would be much easyer if this is controlled by 1 band.

Well yeah and I haven't requested it actually. That's what the multi's are for. Perfect for such things

Cooker...just assign the multiparameters. One knob for the "tilt" and the other 3 for low, high boost (additional) and the last for e.g. saturation (?) easy!

not sure...I mean can you get perfectly flat shelve shape using these slopes? I know I can't with normal shelves, testing slopes now...also requested demo for a famous "red" eq to see if I remember right but responce maybe negative as I requested years ago...

Btw. the slopes will slightly more accurate in the official release, found a few "problems" :).
Anyway the "red" - I didn't test it myself, but I even won't, because it seems to me like a joke (as the whole Algorithmix) - I mean, the equalizer is based on FFT!!!!! It's the same thing as MFreeformEqualizer, but 30x more expensive and less versatile. And of course you can have perfect slope there, well, if you are ok with all these artifacts, latency etc...
