Hi!

Just downloaded Zebralette and very impressed with it's sound. There is a question though: if there is a way to change the default User preset (patches) location?

I'm using two computers (PC and Mac) and I was expecting to share the same Zebra* User preset folder by putting it into the Dropbox. Is it possible? If not: what do you recommend to manage user patches between multiple computers?

Thank you!

Yes the preset format is H2P, multiplatform.
So you can share between mac and pc

Thank you for your answer. I know the preset format is multiplatform.
The question was: how to change the location of the user presets (patches) folder (or specify the folder for saving Zebra* user patches)? So if I relocate the user patches folder to Dropbox (just for example) the saved patches automatically appear on other computer...

Try using a shortcut .. rename it like the original folder and switch places.
(Don't forget to back up the original folder in case things go bad.)

Creating a folder alias just crashes Zebra*, but creating a symbolic link to a Presets folder works well.

Can we have an option to explicitly specify the Presets folder location in future Mac OS Zebra builds (Windows users can specify Presets folder location during the plugin setup)?

Thank you!

You might also use a different tool to synchronize files so you don't need to put the files in the dropbox folder. You could leave the preset path the same and just let the file synchronization tool do the job..

i have the same question.

what did valery mean by "symbolic links" that worked?

in general, i use synchronize pro for syncing one sounds folder with all kind of sounds.
now the problem is i dont get the zebra user folder specified so that the zebra preset folder is in the folder that is synced. i know i could sync the zebra folder extra, but daily sync business costs a lot of time and i want all sounds in one folder. so i need to specify a different user folder or be allowed to place an alias into the regular user folder.
i have a similar problem with sugar bytes plugs by the way.
