MUX as Midi Channel Filter

Hey, thought I'd share a method for using a sequencer/controller VST to send MIDI to synths on different racks. Maybe most of you know how to do this, but if not read on...

Load a multitimbral VST, such as a sequencer in a rack. Set up sends as if
you were routing audio to other racks.

In the target rack, insert a MUX in the topmost slot and a VST beneath.

Open the MUX's deep editor and place a MIDI Channel Splitter between the
Event In and the Event Out modules. The Channel splitter has 16 out tabs,
each one corresponding to a MIDI channel.

Simply link the appropriate out tab to the Event Out module and you have a
filter.
