You must change the skin in the Global Settings and then reload the Plugin.

have a nice try
your video also shows the green backgrounds on the yellow & blue skins?

I know how to change skins....how do you think I got the Orange skin to show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As djsubject pointed out your video shows the skin error I'm talking about so you have the same problem as well but are apparently unaware of the fact......it shows the half green and half blue skin error......

Look in the Orange skin folder...the synthFXpage2.png is GREEN......I've managed to correct the .png so it fits the Orange skin but the box under Modulation Spectrum is still green........don't see a .png responsible for that.......

There is something wrong with Skins in the release version.....

Guys, I'll look into it. Probably a "configuration management" error :D

Ok sounds good...let me know if you need help testing........ :)

EDIT:
Hmmm Presets won't save either.....I'll have to look into this one further......

EDIT 2:

Ok I've found the problem. In Orion 8.5 it's not possible to save presets here. Works perfectly in Sonar X1. SynthMaster and Orion just do not play well together. I started a thread here about audio glitches in Orion with one of the Release Candidates........

did i read somewhere that Orion dose not use a fixed buffer size?

not saving presets sound like a permission's issue? if you run Orion as Administrator (right click, Run As Administrator) will it then let you save presets?

are you sure its not saving the presets? as it could just be there but hidden due to an enabled attribute in the browser?

but this is ALREADY implemented.

Please RTFM, page 5 :D
In the VST Plugin folder I choose I have more than one subfolder associated with SM2. There are Presets, Resources, Partial Presets. Would like all look like this: C:\SawstudioLite\Vstplugins\SM2 and then of course the DLLs will be in root of the ...Vstplugins

Make sense?

Why dont you just read the F***ing manual (RTFM) ? You can do this.

"Changing The Data Folder

If you want to place SynthMaster data files in a different folder, there is an easy way to do that:

Copy all SynthMaster folder/files except SynthMaster2.dll, SynthMaster2FX.dll and SynthMasterFolders.txt into the new folder

Open up the SythMasterFolders.txt file using a text editor, and change the following line:

RootFolder=<new folder path goes here>

Then save the SynthMasterFolder.txt file and you're done!"

Could be...I posted at the Synapse Beta forum but got no response.....

Win XP here....not a permission or Administrator issue...like I said saving works perfectly with Sonar X1....

All the other .smpr files show in Windows Explorer........ so no, it's just not saving files in Orion. The test patches I saved with Sonar X1 do show up without a problem in both the Browser and in Explorer. I'll test with Reaper and FL Studio when time permits....

When you said "saving presets" I understood as saving preset settings in session. If that is working then it's definitely a permissions issue.

I'm actually going to introduce this. When user saves the presets they can change their folder and SM will remember this folder. This request actually came from a producer. This way you dont have to save presets under \Program Files :tu:
