fair enough, fellas, but being able to do patterns already on a timeline that can be duplicated in the "drag to the right" fashion and the only way to do that in mature software is to use a "D" key or whatever to do that? I just find that passe. At minimal, you should be able to do it in both ways if you so choose esp. when the market is this chock full of hosts that they need to market to both linear and pattern-based artists.
