So I spent all sunday downloading cabinet impulses trying to figure out chains of amps, fx'n stuff...Anyway, these cab. IR's are simply curves that shape amp sim.s for decent sound (besides there room reverb I guess...).

There are thousands of free or payware cab. IR's, loading one after another is painful and I'm one of those who really dislike presets.

Ok so what if mfreeformanalogeq (or mfreeformeq) could copy the curve of these IR.s (or give us few presets)+ gives us a chance to customize it? 8)

The peaks are some-what complicated but I have a solution in mind. Give us a "randomize" button that can be configured to certain limits (like between 800hz to 2 khz, in 15 db range of default curve). And also give us auto-listen function so we can find/create peaks to characterize our cab. design...

Also I think you pretty much already released the tools for releasing your own guitar rig, seems only missing link are the cab. designs (which are basicly filters).

Well, the thing is that it's not that simple. It would require lots of bands to do that using an equalizer. Eqs are adjustable, but IRs usually have more "edgy" response. Maybe some IR generator & editor, but that's not that simple either. Will think about it, but I think there will be more interesting things to happen :).

Ah great, I have no doubt you're upto cools stuff as usual :) its just that seems the amp sim. world is still open to improvement ;)
