And I mean that in a good way

On my list of people i'd like to spend the day with in the studio, you're in there :D

Awesome noise.

well played. i especially liked the constant shifts in texture, the fact that it held together well but constantly was changing up in myriad ways.

Downloaded; I bet this is something I have to hear at like 3am.

I think you'll appreciate the rhythmic modulations. There is, perhaps, too much going on in places but if you can identify the transitions between phrases, you'll hear that there is a very strict rhythmic structure.

I like to listen to this one on laptop speakers. The m/s treatment has an interesting effect on the location of the sound.

I have the display monitor speakers on the slave, or these strange pseudo-surround 'phones off my RME on the master machine. My reference 'phones are dead and the MBP's transformer connector basically melted. POS. Could be interesting on these phones which artificially synthesize more extreme placement. Colors the bass a little, I got em as a cheap sim of home speakers as an alternate ref. The only thing that sound decent on the monitor speakers are tv shows or music with loss of range, very occasionally.

All the sounds are from my modular synth, processed with an Eventide PitchFactor, Kaoss Pad KP3, and Octatrack. Sequenced from Numerology, using a Novation Launch Pad to manipulate the sequence.

Yeah, it's longer than it needs to be...

I truly miss you, justin, and I can't agree more that I, too, would like to spend time in the studio with you, though more like a year than a day ;)

Sometimes I think of sitting in the summer sun on a parking lot curb next to a record store, talking to you on my 1st cell phone, and smile Cheshirely.

.... but can they put it all back together again?
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Immediately im beguiled because its something ive never heard before.
I can appreciate it as an abstract experiment , but sooner or later I begin to crave some semblance of a melody to latch onto.
Its interesting , and makes a unique diversion , but its not something i'll be singing in the shower =p
