I can't imagine any reason for a software engineer to use Synthmaker....but good luck with this project anyway.........

The demos sound very good. Definitely plays in the Virus ballpark. Cell...what a great name! Looking forward to more info on this synth!

Synthmaker platform for experimentation and Research and is also suitable for Export the finished result, not a problem to transfer the algorithm in C + +.

Without simulation programming is very difficult, especially when you do not see, and not too off the result, simulation and experimentation Synthmaker fits much better than C + +. Then the finished result is not a problem to port at least for a DSP processor.

For your information supports a low-level programming Synthmaker than I used to the fullest.

The demos sound good enough for me to want it. Sadly (not for me), I've recently moved onto a Mac for music production (no regrets, BTW).
So be sure to announce when you've ported it to C++ and made it available for Mac. ;)

The supersaw sound has been done to death, quite succesfully in some cases. Apparently, its the unique FX that make the Virus sound, no one has that nailed yet :-)
