That would definitely be useful! Roundtone and The Glue have similar options and I use them all the time! :)

Cheers

As an option that would be great!
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

+1 for offline rendering options
circuit modeling and 0-dfb filters are cool

This is inside! At the moment we're looking at 3 quality settings (maybe 4) and a "best for offline rendering" switch.

A fresh instance will come up with a medium quality/cpu setting, and with low voice polyphony (maybe 6). The quality can be switched by instance and isn't changed with preset.

You can however save your preferred settings in a default.h2p preset.

Some latest news: We've dropped the MS-20 filter structures that we got from a paper and have completely reimplemented them from transfer functions we found in a book. Our original design was already closer than anything we have as native software, on the iPad or even in new hardware (Monotron...), but our new version IMHO is spot on.

I have basically finished the front panel design in the upper part. It needs some more labels though. I will also have to re-render some switches.

I'm currently implementing a little gimmick that just had to be done. Think of the oddest feature of the Schmidt C :hihi:

In a few days I should be finished with the bottom panel as well.

I'm determined to get this out before December, even if it's a public beta.

Cheers,

;) Urs

URS wrote:It's a bit more complicated than that... we've added the Little Phatty's wave morphing capability to the "Triple Osc" as we call it, we have switches to let the OTA based ladder filter sound like that of Jupiter 8 or Juno 60 respectively, we extended our DCO model with the waveform generation found in the alpha Junos, but kept the 60ish tuning, and we dismissed the alpha Juno State Variable filter tuning in favour of the Jupiter 6' settings, but then we kept the alpha Juno'S highpass filter mechanism for its bass boost. So we basically cannibalised 8 analogue synths to verify that we have correct models of certain parts that we liked. We however ditched stuff that we didn't think was great enough, so no MS-20-like envelopes etc.
Fascinating! Combining the most desireable characteristics of several different synths into a virtual 'Bride Of Frankenstein' made of old, 'well-preserved' synth body parts (I know - Halloween is over - sorry)

:o this sounds like the most awesome soft synth ever.

can't wait!

Well... we'll see.

It certainly is a sweet spot synth - you can't go all too wrong. On the other hand side she's also very limited in her routing options and she doesn't do much else than 99% of the synths out there. She might just have that tad more attitude that some folks might have been missing elsewhere.

There's very little chance of you disappointing us, Urs. You're great at what you do, and work extremely hard at it.
