Ok...

There's 12 automatable parameters. Called "AutoParam"s in Sonigen Modular.

They work more like midi controllers than typical automation, since they are not directly / automatically tied to any front panel knobs.

So you have to actually connect the AutoParam to a module input. You can use them to control cutoff, pitch, or amplitude etc... in the same way you would an LFO or and Envelope.

Here is how...

Image

Right click on the module.
Select what you want to automate, in this case Cutoff.
Then go to controlers submenu, and click "AutoParam".

Now you have this...

Image

The new input panel labelled cutoff, with an icon that looks like three dots joined by lines. Thats my attempt at an Icon that represents "Automation".

Now if you click on the "Automation" icon you'll get a popup where you can select the automation source.

And on the knob on the panel allow you to adjust the amount of automation to apply.

The AutoParam names can be changed to whatever you want by editing the "autoparams.txt" file in the Sonigen Modular Data folder.

Note that currently the AutoParam values are not saved with the patch.

Works if I manually set up the parameter and draw on the envelope in Reaper Win XP 32, but can't seem to find autoparams.txt anywhere?

Post

Oops, forgot to set the installer to include it. That explains why the names were showing up as "Paramete", since it defaults to "Parameter"+index, should the autoparams.txt file fail to load, and the VST spec limits names to 8 chars.

It's fixed and ready for download.
