I really like some aspects of it (like the color knobs and the FM logo, some of the overall darker feel), but use the original skin for most of the modules architecture and yes... full features.FarleyCZ wrote:Am I onlyone who still likes Unempty Dark Horse skin the most?
What will the new Zebra modules be?

I like the "sharpness" of the Unempty Dark Horse skin. And the FM logo is just awesome
But it looks a bit to much like a toy imo and the architecture of some modules is way better in the original skin imo
Cheers

Nope. It is my preferred skin also. A matter of taste I know, but the current default skin I find harder to read. It's far from terrible thoughFarleyCZ wrote:Am I onlyone who still likes Unempty Dark Horse skin the most?

Zebra will always stay my favorite U-He synth! As much as I like DIVA (As far as I can tell yet) I can't wait until it's finished and the Zebra developement goes on
Cheers

I actually love the Transmission skin a lot. But alas, it's not ok with Z2.5+...
However, Howie's skin mockup just about kills all others.

It's a soundbank that comes with its own skin.

I used the Dark Horse skin religiously, until I found out a few knobs were missing in it, or at least one of them - the LP12 Drive knob. A very cool knob in my booksmabian wrote:No!FarleyCZ wrote:Am I onlyone who still likes Unempty Dark Horse skin the most?
I love it too, and hope a new GUI version is made on top of it.

D'uh... Sad about that buttons. :/ I really liked that skin. That shine of it. Very inspirational to me.
I'm actually thinking about sacrifying that buttons.

I just had an idea!
Nest multiple ModMappers patterns within a given ModMapper instance. The patterns could be set to play a selectable number of times through before switching to the next pattern, looping through the patterns that are enabled. Triggering different patterns by notes might also be useful, so that a C triggers one pattern and an F# another.
It would basically be a way to make a step sequencer without having to set up a new screen along the lines of the arpeggiator.
The thought occurred to me while I was working on an acidy tune that has filter cutoff and resonance modulated by ModMappers. It sounds great, but with only one pattern available, I'm going to have to either move that automation to my host or create multiple Zebra tracks to hold multiple cutoff melodies. Not that either of those options are a big problem or anything, but the approach I'm suggesting might be more elegant.
