Hi Bulent,

is there a way to make it work???

To be honest, I don't want to let Synthmaster import all my samples into the VstPlugins folder...I would like to let them stay in the folder as they are now...and just want to use the sfz file...

take a look at the config file:

User SFZ Folder=C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\KV331 Audio\Resources\UserSamples

Change the above path to you SFZ folder.

Change the above path to you SFZ folder.

That's cool, thx.

Edit: But it doesn't include subfolders, right???

I guess it should as the original UserSamples folder contains subfolders too. I got my own samples/SFZs in \VstPlugins\KV331 Audio\Resources\UserSamples\Ingo Weidner. The new subfolder "Ingo Weidner" appears as a new entry in the drop-down menu of Synthmaster then.

I will add subfolder support as well (once I am done with the web site changes!)

BTW, as for expansions here's what I think:

Expansions will have a root folder such as:

c:\users\bulent\SynthMaster Expansions

Then, for each expansion we'll have the following subfolders:

Expansion 1
Presets -> preset files for expansion go here
SFZ -> sfz/wav/aiff go here
Waveforms -> single cycles go here

Expansion 2
Presets -> preset files for expansion go here
SFZ -> sfz/wav/aiff go here
Waveforms -> single cycles go here

...

This way, we can distribute the expansion in a zip file and it can be installed very easily :tu:
