It works now...
I ordered one video, payed with paypal but they refunded and informed me that they can't accept my payment, no explanation why...very strange

Not sure about this one, so maybe someone here can give it a try.

Kelly's Music and Computers and B&H both have Native Instrument's Komplete Audio 6 for $199.99.

Now, NI have a deal where you can get it at that price *when* you buy Komplete or some other NI products with it...but they do not have it at that price separately.

It's a heck of a deal for that interface. I'm tempted, but not sure.

Couple notes about the KA6 that I've noticed around the 'net: (1) phantom power can be too low for some mics, (2) headphone level is quieter than many expect, and (3) NI does not list Vista as supported (but the sites above do list it). I'm not sure if it works fine on Vista or XP, but that might be something to check into first.

EDIT: Audiomidi also has the deal, but their site says it's a special price for those that own Komplete, Maschine, or Mikro. The other stores don't seem to mention that (and maybe it doesn't actually matter).

Well, I bought my ampLion stuff, and it appears that the payments went through on two of the files, but the last one seems to be hung up for some reason.

Waiting to see what happens...

ZPlane's Vielklang Instant Harmony 1.5 plugin. Total cost is $45.

The very least I've seen it go for over the years is $99.

I demo'ed it a couple of years ago and really liked it, especially how it would generate some surprising harmonies, not just parallel tracking of fourths and fifths and such. Not perfect, but VERY powerful and intuitive to use.

Combine it with Melodyne for pitch-perfect prep of a vocal line, and I can now be a world-famous popstar!
