Urs, please set the default release low for the ADSR modules. My head nearly exploded from the sudden CPU artifacts when I switched to the analog ADSR, while a midi arp was still going...

In Live, some buttons are not automatable. (for example noise, feedback, rate) Some automateble for reference: sync, cutoff...
It works that you show Live which button you want automate by moving them a bit. Live don't notice some of them. Bug must be somewhere at letting host to know about parameters or their changes...

Playing and switching between some of the Justin's presets forces DIVA to quit output sound, especially with some presets with long decay/release when switching from one to another.
When playing seems that the sustain/decay/release sound from the previous patch still remain and affect the successive selected preset.
This, with cpu spikes maybe can cause DIVA to don't emit more sound, but the second time that i've tried to play with the Justin presets i was careful to put a bit down decay/sustain/release and the problem didn't occurred.
OSX 10.6.8 and Live 8.2.5
EDIT, Accurate research:
This happened now switching from "Filter Drone"->To->"The Break-up1"
I was playing with Filter Drone, then when i switched to "The Break-up1" DIVA started to emit an high level disturbing gated noise. Then switching back to Filter Drone preset caused DIVA to output a sustained sound without playing on the keyboard and going another time to Break-up1 killed definitively DIVA. No more sound.
I'm going to make a screencast and then send it to "anybody" at uhe.

I made some of those presets with earlier builds. I've found that after re-saving most of them with the current build, I'm not getting the drop-out issue so much. Once the next build arrives (or when the dual VCO cross mod and ADS issues are fixed) I'll re-up my presets.raikard233 wrote:Playing and switching between some of the Justin's presets forces DIVA to quit output sound, especially with some presets with long decay/release when switching from one to another.
Thanks for checking them out.

Ok Justin, i'll wait the re-saved one to see if the problem persists.

Oh... I might have to ask Clemens, but it's possible that pre-pulic betas still had some of our internal trimpots (usually for gain between stages). That would certainly be a good source or blow ups...justin3am wrote:I made some of those presets with earlier builds. Okay, that's good to know. I'll work on updating my patches then. Some of the ones I made with build 331 use features that aren't working in 338 so I'm going to hold off on updating those.

MIDI program change is not working.
In Ableton Live's Session view you can have midi clips where each midi clip can use different preset for playing notes. In clip's settings you can set Bank, Sub bank and Program. These don't seem to have any effect.
Edit:
I have quite a few user made presets installed and I can select those from Diva's UI just fine. But I haven't been able to change presets from clip settings. That is the problem.

Have you tried putting patches in the MIDI Programs folder?sl1914 wrote:MIDI program change is not working

Windows XP sp3, Dell core 2 duo pentium 4, with integrated graphics/video card. Ableton Live 7. My default resolution I have it set to is 1024 by 768. I changed GUI sizes to one smaller than the default. Default GUI was not showing me the whole GUI. I think the white vertical lines showed up where the border of the effect drop down menus would line up. They might have been about 1 pixel in width, nothing drastic that would prevent you from seeing controls, but were still there none the less. They did not stretch across the whole GUI, only a little portion by the effects box area. Sorry, I didn't think to take a screen shot.Urs wrote:Eeeek. Win or Mac? Did you change the guy size? The 'quantize' knob in the mod section is a bit buggy, so long as 'quantize' is assigned to a parameter. If quantize is cabled to filter cutoff, it kills Diva's audio, and I have to reload the plug. Other connections seem to freak Diva out in other ways.

I cannot reproduce this with a similar setup... can you try my preset "sync chaser"?xh3rv wrote:If quantize is cabled to filter cutoff, it kills Diva's audio, and I have to reload the plug.

The preset plays fine but if I turn the quant knob (the one in the mod panel) down to zero, that kills Diva every time.
