Well, here's +1 for bigger demand. ;)

(= I, too, wish to have a native x64 version of Audiffex products in the future, as I wish to continue to use GK Amplification in my x64 host.)

Thanks for the fast response maslo.

I look forward to 64 bit versions of your plugs. FWIW, your catalog was not even on my radar until your recent post--which, I guess, speaks to the value of marketing. I'm glad I know about you now, though. :D

Thanks Maslo! I'm also interested in a 64 bit version, but just as important for me, please keep your copy protection serial or keyfile. That is the reason I was interested in your software in the first place. Only you and 2 other companies provide guitar fx that don't use Challenge/response or dongle. I try to support companies that don't use Challenge/response or dongles (there are quite a few companies that don't use C/R & dongles). :-)

By the way, will there be an upgrade path to version 2 from version 1? I read recently that you have been working on version 2 for a few months, and I'm interested in upgrading to that as long as you don't have C/R or Dongle. :-)

Thanks again!!!!

+1 for 64bit Audiffex! Its will become even more important as all DAWS are going 64-bit. Its unfortunate that us Logic users, because we got to 64-bit first, are STILL, after YEARS of being 64-bit, not able to use all our favorite plugins in native format.

I will see how well your stuff runs in 32-bit bridge. edit: it seems you do not currently have AU versions of your plugins?! Ok, I might be forced to pass all together! Ok, it looks like the bass amps do…downloading now. Wish I could test Amplion though!

+1 for 64-bit. I made the jump a few month's back. Almost never boot into my XP partition any longer.

@all: thanks a lot for all the feedback. I will translate your demand of 64-bit and no C/R to our developers :)

@LGK_Dude: We plan to add the AU version to ampLion 1.1. In fact, I have already had a pre-alpha version running as an AU component on my computer.

@audiojunkie: All of the upgrades are going to be for free for at least a year since now. The further future is not clear yet. As for the version 2 you are talking about, do you mean ampLion? The next version will definitely be a free update. It will, however, be version 1.1 (as mentioned above), not 2 :)

Thanks Maslo,

Yes, I was referring to AmpLion. I read on a thread somewhere from the person I thought was the developer, mentioning that he had just started work on AmpLion v2. This was back in April or May. That's why I was asking.

Maslo,

I found the link where I read it from... It can be found here:

http://www.guitarampmodeling.com/viewto ... 3&start=25

From MartinAFX -- He said that it is already being worked on, and this was back in April. Is he not part of your team?

Oh, gotcha - MartinAFX is me :) When I wrote it, I was not aware of the numbering of the future versions, so there comes the confusion.

Btw, although I cannot give any specific date, the release date is slowly, but surely coming.

Post

Awesome! Thanks for the clarification! :-) Can you let us know what we are likely to see in the new version?

Only a few more hours to wait! I can guaranty you will see $33 of my money that really should be going towards paying bills, but a deal like this doesn't come along very often. :D

Any comments on Nomad Factory's Analog Mastering Tools sale?

As a impulsive purchase is a plain cheap gateway to jump on the Don't Crack Integral bundle offer. But I'd like to read opinions on the Analog Mastering Tools worthness...

Good stuff. I threw one of them on a track right away, and it solved a big problem I'd been having.

Of all the Nomad Stuff, their Trackbox gets the most use from me. The presets on that thing are very good and give some nice instant results.

I will probably wind up getting their $99 deal just to get the various BT effects. The only problem is that, IMHO, there are far too many compressors and EQ's in their lineup. I'm not talented enough to discern the nuances in each of these, and I choose to just stick to a couple of them that I know and like.

If I was just starting out with them, I would definitely use the $20 deal to get the $99 deal.

As it is, I'm about $90 into them with the various no-brainers over the years, so I'll only wind up saving about $10 off their current offer (i.e. $199 if you don't own any current Nomad products.)

Cheers
