Hi all,

We do not have PowerPC support in DIVA yet because we don't have an AltiVec equivalent for a certain SSE instruction. We have to either change some algorithms or (more likely) recreate that instruction from hand.

However, I do not believe that she will be much fun on those processors

P.S.: Support for RTAS Mac, 64 bit Windows, VST3, AAX and all is planned as well, but I can not seriously give an estimate. VST 2.4 Win 64 bit is set to happen later this month though. Support for MacOS X 10.4 is not likely, as our stuff doesn't compile with the 10.4 SDK anymore.

Diva seems like the point to drop PPC support. The processors are too slow for Diva

I'm the wrong guy to say that (My PC is from the stone age) but PPC support can be dropped imo. There aren't many PPC users anymore and I don't think that PPCs will be able to run DIVA properly anyway.

I agree, I think it's rather counterproductive to support discontinued technology from so many years back.
