I know, pointless but still, analyzer shows few Hz more.

Hi. :-)
I noticed that every synth I press A note on and analyze trough Melda Analyzer (which I absolutely love btw), is analyzed as 441. (Voxengo shows 440) This minor diffeneces continule to 878 etc ... Not that it metters, but still, is there anything I can do about that? :)

Thanks for any reply. :-)

I can confirm that MAnalyzer is off tune.

I did the test with a pure 880 hz sine wave and MAnalyzer shows 883 hz.

Yes, but note that it is not a complete pitch detector! Pitch detection is way more complicated and CPU intensive. Here it is only as a additional feature and calculated purely from the analysis window, which will never be completely accurate and depends on lots of settings as well.

Span is a very accurate pitch detector :D

How can he do this ?

I tried new version and MAnalyzer taker 30% less CPU, detects multiple points, and I have found no way to make Span detect pitch.

When the mouse pointer is over a peak graph (zoom in mode) the display shows the rignt pitch in Hz and musical notes.

That is not pitch detection. Anyway I previous versions it was not accurate, but it has been fixed. Do you have 5.06 installed?

Yes 5.06 installed and MAnalyzer shows 883 hz for a 880 hz reference.

I don't understand you. You told me it's about mouse cursor, and now you are talking about reference signal. So what's the problem?

I only play a sine (A 880 Hz) and look at MAnalyzer peak graph.
Mouse over is not necessary because there is already a pop-up Hz display box.
This is offtune.

Then I repeat once again, this is not a full pitch detector...

Well to be fair, Voxengo eats a bit more, yes. On the other side, it detects exact frequency from relatively big window ... they had to solve it somehow clever.

Never mind, I like Melda's still the most. Better looking and alows realy quick adjusting of time aveardging, which is really handy.
