Sorry, no modulated delays..
Cheers. The topic of the modulation effects rule is currently being discussed here in case you want to input. Hope as many as possible do in fact.JJBiener wrote:Out of deference to V'ger, I have removed Reflex from my mix. It is now listed as Enigmatic 2 to distinguish it from the original.

Gorgorgathgorgorgor - Sonigen Off Again
I went back and forth between loving and hating this synth, hence the Title. In the end it's one I most likely won't come back to, as
it's UI kind of drives me crazy, but It has had it's moments. I hope you'll enjoy the result of my struggles!
12 instances of Sonigen
effects-
Master
Ferric TDS
Baxter EQ
Loudmax
TT Dynamic Range Meter
Blue Cat FreqAnalyst
Tracks
Loudmax (on nearly everything)
Tom HP Filter (on Kik)
Pancake (on Hat)
kitchen_sync_2 (using pan section only on "bass flute")
epicVerb (on the Drumkit)
DensitymkII (on the Drumkit

Hi Guys,andjac1963 wrote:Hi Chrissonigen wrote:I'm guessing here but what you could be experiencing is that parameters arnt automatically mapped to anything in Sonigen Modular. It reports 12 automatable parameters and it's up to you to select what they modulate in SM. You have to open the signal menu, (right click on a module) pick the target from the first menu, then go to the controllers sub menu, and pick AutoParam. If you click on the little automation icon on the resulting panel, you can select which of the 12 parameters it sources from.andjac1963 wrote: Any thoughts?
It's a bit more effort than I would like it to be but it's limited because VST2.4 doesn't supporting dynamic parameter lists.

Many thanks for your speedy response. I'll give this a go later. The synth appears quite a challenge to me as I've never used a modular synth before, the possibilities seem endless. Excited by the prospect though.
Cheers
Aj
I too was struggling how to automate the filter, Luckily this issue was allready adressed. Must say I like the synth, I do hope I get the track finished by wednesday (there's a still a lot of work and little time.
Good luck everybody.

My DAW is Reaper
11 instances of Sonigen
Effects on individual tracks, but not all tracks used the stereo enhancer:
Classic Compressor
Classic Reverb
Classic Master Limiter
Stereo Enhancer
Effects on the Master FX
Classic Compressor
Classic Reverb
Classic Master Limiter
I liked this synth and will probably use again, just wish the automation items were labeled so I knew what parameters I could adjust without digging too deep.

Yes anything that doesn't have modulation hardwired. MgTempodelay is good as already said, as is IxoxDelay and Readelay.

I've reuploaded my entry. In this version I replaced the (beloved
) Tal Dub II with Ixox Delay (followed by Melda Autopan), and Tal Rev II with Magnus Ambience (hope this one is not forbidden...).
I've made also some slight modifications on volumes, and some eq-ing.

Hmmmmm make sure you have the Velocity Glide turned down, its on the Master module. If that doesn't help you can email me the patch if you want.debby wrote:I tried. But, velocity applied next midi note not low velocity note.
