We'll have an ATC Quad /w 303, 2600, Mini and SEM soon. I don't know how close these come, but they'll certainly provide some inspiration.

The biggest issue will be finding an OB-X. They're hard to come by...

not close enough
I disagree. It's close enough for me (and I'm not easyly pleased). And it would be a waste to have another OB-X emulation. Matrix-12, OTOH has no emulation AT ALL, an noone I know of is working on it (is it cursed, or something?).

Sounds great, especially for the 2600 and SEM! :tu:

My personal wishlist for some faraway version of DIVA would look like this:

Regarding, the OB-X emulation... it's PC only. There is the Reaktor ensemble version but popular opinion is that it isn't as good as the standalone PC version. Hence the 'need' for OB-X in 'Diva'! ;)

Now, that would be something. This beast is supposed to sound absolutely stunning.

I still regret that I didn't go for it when I had the chance to buy one.

On a related note, I was offered an ARP 2500... owner says it's got something he wants to see in our stuff... owner has a very persuasive nature... hard to resist... could borrow it for a year or two... hmmm...
Didn't New Order use one of these in the early days?

this has layers of 8x8 wavetables. you can morph around the chessboard of each layer and also morph through different instances of 8x8 wavetables. there are controls for X, Y and Z coordinate wave morphs and it sounds lovely

As far as I know there's no software that can really emulate the sort of results possible. Obviously you can set zebra2 to match the resultant changing sweep of waves the oscillator makes but then you are fixed to just 1 dimensional movement along a given pathway without the flexibility of an e350

Awesome, but when you apply Osc FX on top of the wavetable, you can get into 3-space morphing. Yes, you're limited to having two dimensions covered by what the Osc FX can do, but then these effects create the sorts of progressions of sound that are the subject of a good wavetable anyway. Plus, you have the nightmare of manually setting up a 3D wavetable... At the moment, even thinking about editing a 2D wavetable, where every wave needs to share the same number of handles, is a bit daunting.

Be sure to clean the key contacts while you're in there. Once a week thereafter might be enough.
