Receptor and kontakt options

Hello

I have just bought a used receptor 1 rev c os latest 1.7 version.

I have also bought kontakt 4, I can see from reading many posts on here that I'm not going to get kontakt 4 running on this receptor so I am trying to find a version of kontakt that will work on receptor 1 just for a trial purpose if I can achieve what I need to achieve with kontakt and the recptor I will upgrade the receptor.

I tried to get kontakt 2 player but cannot find a version to download NI website only seems to have latest kontakt 5 player.

What I'm trying to achieve is to make instruments in kontakt and use them live when giggling on the receptor, what options do I have with my current receptor and kontakt 4, for example can I create the instruments on my pc and then use another player that works on the receptor 1?

Any assistance or advice appreciated.

Unfortunately the Kontakt instruments and patches are not reverse compatible. This means that if you use Kontakt 5 to create your instruments, only Kontakt 5 can play them; they will not load in Kontakt 2.

Is there a way to get sampletank free working on receptor just tried but can only find installer on plugorama for full version and free serial number doesn't work, just might be a short term option for me until can upgrade.
