fixed in latest betaIngonator wrote:Could anybody confirm this bug?Ingonator wrote:Now i could confirm the same bug i already reported for the Dual VCO module for the Triple VCO:
If i switch VCO either to a coarse tune of 8' or 16' i always get the pitch of the 8' one and if i switch to 32' i get the pitch of the 16'. I could not get the pitch of the 32' with VCO1 like i do with the other two VCOs.
For VCOs 2 and 3 this seems to work in a normal way.
You could test this easily use only VCO 1 and switch from 2' through 32'. You should observe that from 8' to 16' the pitch does not change. Same for the Dual VCO module.
I used the version 360 for Windows.
Ingo
While reprogramming some Minimoog patch sheets this was quite annoying, especially for a patch which uses 3 OSCs at 32'.

Sorry if these have been reported!
1) I just had 2 crashes in a row in the latest Logic Pro: crashed when loading a 2nd instance of Diva. Logic is able to save a recovery file!
2) In the Patches window, if I click toward the left half inch of a patch name it selects the patch in the column to the left instead of the one I click on.

Got your crash log - thanks for that!abernathy wrote:Sorry if these have been reported!

I can't reproduce it at the moment. Maybe it's already fixed, or maybe we need to check it on Lion.
Yep, will be fixed!2) In the Patches window, if I click toward the left half inch of a patch name it selects the patch in the column to the left instead of the one I click on.

OK, this is really strange... I have a generic test project I use in Cubase 6.0.5 for testing/playing around with various plugins. All of a sudden, Diva is acting very strangely: if I hit a note, the first voice doesn't sound, and spikes the CPU. If I round-robin through all 8, the remaining 7 work just fine. Back to 1, and there's no sound and a huge CPU spike.
I don't know what the heck is causing this, but I have a sneaky suspicion it might have had something to do with a recent Direct X update. I did a system restore, and all is good... that is, until a couple of restarts later. The problem is back. It seemed to corrupt the whole project, as it was freezing and none of my other synths were working. Nothing was outputting sound. Weeeeird!

Strange. I'm getting exactly the same crash in Live 8.2.6 (in menuItemWasSelected:) on a simple plugin I'm working on now. No clue what the root cause is though.

Turns out in my case it was a totally unrelated write past the bounds of an array, that just manifested this way. Probably not usefully similar to whatever this is. It was a bugger to pin down though.kuniklo wrote:Strange. I'm getting exactly the same crash in Live 8.2.6 (in menuItemWasSelected:) on a simple plugin I'm working on now. Having Dual VCO and turning Cross Mod Env 2 up and then switching to "Triple Oscillator" or "OscBank" as it says once switched
, there's a yellow triangle at the FM 1->2/3 and the sounds is very dissonant. I've tried to tweak range and detune but it wont help. Same with the FM knob.
this is cool though as you can get cool sounds using the Oscbank's sync
The FM knob stops working if you have the Cross Mod Env 2 up to max, or at least i cant hear any changes in sound when i tweak it.
Does Cross mod and FM serve the same function? Switching back and forth (doubleclick to reset the Env2 mod of cross mod and triangle goes away) between the two modules, it sounds very similar if i only have osc 2 audioable in the Oscbank.

The triangle indicates that the parameter is modulated even though tehre's no knob visible for this. Go into the "Modifications" page and lower whatever modulates CrossMod/FM.Crackbaby wrote:there's a yellow triangle
(or switch to Dual VCO and lower the CrossMod modulation value)
We'll have more yellow triangles soon, and proper explanations to their meaning.
