It doesn't load in FL and crashes on scan with Maschine but it's possible to record midi straight into Maschine, in cantabile i just add it to a rack and activate record et voilà, midi import!

The mod sequencers map to the controls in Maschine as well although i can't record the automation.

Anyway just wanted to let you know that Arp has a bug, i'll post the other stuff later.

Annoyingly I can't reproduce any issues locally, but a few people are having issues with Live as well.

I've added a 1.5-beta 1 to the download page, which is basically 1.4 with just a few of the new features enabled, can you test this to see if it loads ok?

I'll get another beta together adding some more features to see if we can find out where the problem is.

OK, I've built 7 betas each progressively adding features, so I suggest trying beta1 and then beta7 if successful and then work backwards if it doesn't work. Note that these may not work as expected, they are only for identifying the loading problem.

beta 7 worked in FL and Cantabile but still crashing during scan in Maschine. So progress!

I can't use it in Maschine anyway but i'll keep testing if you need me to.

Well it's good news, but unfortunately the live problem exists, so still testing for the minute, can you try beta 8? This one will not function but would be good to know if it loads in FL and maschine

It does load in FL and Cantabile but not Maschine. I didnt realise it wasn't functional, that might explain why mapping the CCs didn't work!

Is it possible to have a working version installed at the same time?

No unfortunately, but hold off on the testing if you want, I am in a rigorous testing cycle in the other thread at the moment, which is mainly problems with Live. Feel free to join in if you wish though

Re the other FRs, here's a couple that have surfaced in my foggy noggin when playing with Arp.

Accent cause it's perfect for analog style basslines and following on from that different sequencer modes such as forward/reverse. Also it would be great if it was possible to control the note of each step via midi.

I don't know if it's a bug but when the pulse knob is fully open the sequence stops gating and fades out slightly.

Anyway, bloody love Arp, i hope the mopho gets the same treatment or you develop a full fledged step sequencer, that would rawk.

Accent- You can use the Vol Strip for that, that was the point of it really, although it can also be used to reduce the vol too

Modes I'll add to the list.

Well the pulse width goes between 0.1% and 100% so it is probably causing the note off to overlap, I'll check it out.

Can you explain what you mean about controlling each step with midi? You know you can use channel 16 to control the entire pitch of the arp via midi notes incidentally

Oh yeah, so the vol can be used like an inverted accent.

I meant midi to control the pitch value of steps like on the analog step sequencers, although 32 steps is a lot of knobs.

I just find Arp lends itself well to real time step sequencing but i have to do it with the mouse.

I started to play with the pitch mode yesterday. Very cool effect!

probably won't get a chance until next week though!

I will get a mopho when i can afford one, definitely seems like a good synth to give the pulse treatment. Also I have thought about a dedicated step sequencer plugin, just finding the time..

Got the update, very nice. I've been using the pitch mode a bit more and the channel 16 hold makes sense.

I was reading in the manual about setting up the pitcher mode but i've been using two controllers; maschine pads to toggle the scale and keyboard to play pitch. This is in Cantabile though but that's how i would use it in a live performance as i could set up my sequences and then trigger them in order.

I have one more FR.

Well, more midi control of the sequencer functions, like length, toggle steps etc.

Oh yeah, hold doesn't work anymore, just flashes briefly.
