Would it be possible to add another option to the "Assign to" list in the right-click menu for knobs that auto assigns a parameter to the first free slot in the mod matrix?

Not a big deal by any means but given the exceptionally intuitive design of Zebra's UI it seems like a suitable addition that would help workflow.

Ha! That's a really cool idea :)
Never thought of that!

True.

We'll see...

Yep, that a cool idea.
It was also in my Zebra suggestions txt for some time now :D ..along with others... Just gotta refine those suggestions and find a perfect timing to post them... :)

For example, I think that a bypass all modulations button (something like Zebra has for the effects section but for the mod matrix) would sure be useful also :)

Oh, definitely!

Oh, definitely!
Lots of modulations are not in the mod matrix though

It could be made to bypass ALL modulations, then? :)

Even better would be page were ALL modulations are visible

While we are asking... 8)

The ability to copy OSCs without having to save/load them would be very nice.

And the ability to save and load the FX section would be hot, especially if they could also be loaded into Zebrify.

A "ghost" (it won't be called like that :hihi: ) tab within the mod matrix panel that will show the rest of the modulations scattered all round the modules maybe.

+ with it's own bypass button. (If you think about it, there will be times when you want to bypass one or another instead of all modulations)

Not only oscs.... but the ability to copy/paste between the same type of modules and an initialize little button for each also (at least for modules with more controls) ..so instead of a dozen double clicks.. we'll get away with 2 or 3 clicks :hihi:

Loadable FX section sounds interesting also :)

I don't really imagine myself wanting to disable all modulations... why/when would I do that?

I would like to see all modulations in a tab though...

Not really disabling them, but bypassing them for A/B comparison. Although a mod matrix reset button will also be useful.

I would find it very useful especially when working on a more physical modelling side when I wanna check if some certain (more subtle) modulation assignments are making an improvement or not. (yep, more subtle modulations of almost the same parameters gives way different results rather than heavily modulating a few!)

In some cases, remembering, resetting and setting up again a bunch of modulation values can get very distracting in order to A/B.

So than we will have:

mute(/solo) individual modulations + bypass all modulations button + an extra tab within the mod matrix where to find the rest of the modulation assignments + mod matrix reset button + right-click parameter -> send to mod matrix.... + some extra modulation slots... (for me if you don't want/need them) :hihi:

How's that? :)

Btw, if you aren't running out of modulation slots you should be using the mod matrix more often! :x :hihi:

I have yet to run out of modulation slots but that is cause there are so many ways to modulate without the matrix. I will use the mods on the filter first cause then I can adjust them without going to the matrix tab... And when I am working on a preset, I do want to disable modulations to see where it is at, but it is so changeable which I would want disabled in a given situation. I really do not see wanting to disable all for A/B purposes (that is sorta like comparing my current preset to init)... maybe by modulator so for example, all env2 modulation... so a tab where all modulators are listed and one can see all targets and a way to disable per modulator...

I am not sure how to do that so that it is easier than it is now because what I want to disable in a given situation is too changeable therefore I would need too much complexity to be able to address all those circumstances and it might be no more fluid than right now... I definitely would like to view all targets somewhere...

Maybe a mod matrix snapshot would be more useful than disable switch... then you can make some tweaks and actually A/B 2 sets of matrix settings... but then you could just have whole preset snapshots which would be more flexible and allow you to do what you are looking for...

speaking of physical modeling side... some tubular bells I just made... and yeah, lots of small subtle modulations are needed! A tiny adjustment can make a big difference!!
