Usine is really great, I can highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for a nodal host with multitouch and a lot of other cool device input options.
Allows you to build your own GUI and is well maintained.

I was mostly interested because Cristian Vogel was mentioned as a user (I don't remember where though) and he used to create a lot of sound design that I liked. The site quotes FSOL which I used to listen to a lot aswell.

I am in no way affiliated to the people who develop SFX Machine. I just think it's a very interesting piece of software for sound design.
Downside: SFX Machine does not offer direct automation. To automate it has a midi-learn function which is OK but I think a professional plug-in today should communicate all its parameters to the DAW for immediate automation.
I won't complain though because for the price the plug-ins are valuable. Even if you have some of the types of effects already, it is said that they simply sound different (referring to a review).
I am grateful that I can use plug-ins like these without breaking my budget. Worth checking the plug-ins in demo mode.
