With the digital volume envelopes the sound sounds constantly with every parameter set to zero. Possibly a sustain still passes the sound even with the zero amount. Pressing the little red button "C" can reduce this effect by twice, but issue is still there.
Sorry for repeating^^^, so is this a bug?
It would be, but we couldn't reproduce it in the latest builds.

Maybe it was there and now its fixed...?

We'll have a new build shortly...

Post

Hello Urs,
the latest build crashes Cubase as soon as I try to load a preset.
But even if I don't do that and just play, it won't make a sound.
The new build is the one with multicore support?
Shall I post the crash log here, maybe?

edit: nevermind, I posted it over at the beta forum.

Post

I got a crash simply auditioning sounds on a Vista laptop when I selected 'Crunch lead' from justin's 36 patches (posted elsewhere on KVR).

Was not repeatable though. When I tried to repeat it, I was flipping through patches and I get a message in the debugger "too high a value!" that repeats so often it appears to hang the host. Perhaps those patches are outdated?

Setting either LFO to 'single' causes an LFO waveform with all sorts of bizarre artefacts.
Really annoying because I am getting some beautiful pulsing pads that keep getting this glitchy element to them
It's particularly noticeable on PWM, but also filter modulation as well.
It doesn't seem to matter which waveform is chosen.

Thanks Jeremy,

I think that crash is under control. It results from "hidden" trimpot values that had different menaing in the first beta (331?) than in 360. We've taken all these out by now.

Mogular, the single LFO bug is also fixed.

We have a little (annoying!) problem with the Visual Studio linker settings atm, but once this is done we're going to release the next beta.

Later,

;) Urs

Diva doesn't show up at all in FL Studio 10.

I just found out about another niggle. Will try to fix tomorrow and rhen finally post an update. Works in FL then :)

I'm sensing u-he is in crunch mode ... please, no worries & Happy Holidays :)

On the mods page patch ModWhl to FilterFM with some FilterFM amount - moving the modwheel sends FM to all filters except the OTA State Variable.

(Hopefully this was already known?)

Post

Clicking on the beginning of a patch name from the third and fourth columns in the patches page selects the patch from the column immediately to its left.

All fixed I think... (patch selection quircks definately)

I guess so, because it's fine in recent (non public) betas :-)

Not sure if it's a bug, or if it behaved this way in previous betas, but in the last one (467), the draft mode yields a very different resonance setting to the other modes. The resonance (emphasis in the transistor ladder anyways) when on draft at lower settings seems equivalent to the values of the other modes when they have a much higher resonance.

I'm not at home and don't recall the patch I was using but if you give give the filter a fairly quick sweeping envelope it should be noticeable. Use fast or higher quality and put the emphasis around 50% and play a note. Now put it on DRAFT mode. The resonance is much higher, more like when the emphasis is near 100% on other modes. It doesn't seem like just a quality thing. Actually I think the draft mode sounds pretty good, there is just much more resonance at lower settings.

Bug?
