Starting to love this synth even though it kills my Core 2 Duo when I try to do multiple notes in a single instance. Add in release and a little decay and it maxes quickly.
However, once I started to get an idea for how to shape sounds in it, it's really opened up to be fun. Now if only I could put together something people will enjoy :\

Cheers for the new beta, this synth is really growing seriously on me. Already bought it, couldn't risk not winning..
But a new record holder of CPU munching here, I have actually seen the CPU meter max at a whopping 130%!! By far beating the previous record held by Cableguys Curve at 48% and Tyrell at 40%. But most patches with a 'fast' setting are at quite acceptable levels.
Very unusual with absolutely no entries by day 12..
Either people are really going for gold with their entries or the tech issues consumes time. But of course it's December also, a busy month for many anyway..

Yes, a very busy month for me so far, but the church musical is over now, so I've got a little more time on my hands... I'll probably be a little closer to the wire this time tho. I'm really happy with how my new effort is turning out tho, and I haven't even gotten around to downloading the new beta yet!

Or, like me, waiting for a new pc. Ordered last week, it should be on its way in a couple days.V'ger wrote: Very unusual with absolutely no entries by day 12..Either people are really going for gold with their entries or the tech issues consumes time. Ha almost, my day job is at a huge Texas Methodist church, and every year we do this gigantic Christmas Musical with full orchestra and choir, dramatic elements (this year we built a huge triple-wide screen across the back of the choir loft and shot a movie to show on it), and lots of extra staging and lighting. it's a huge undertaking that takes months of prep to pull it all off. I had 40 hours of overtime last period. This week I've been mixing it for DVD (track count is over 48) in between my other duties. There hasn't been much time for the Diva.RuediRena wrote:Is it the Church of Our Holy Mother MRU? Well, looks like I'll start the proceedings this month
Doc Jon - Eleventh Dimension
Host - Cubase 6
14 instances of Diva, 7 bounced to audio, 7 running 'live'
In fact once I'd sussed that the main pad sound was taking up 90% of my CPU power I didn't have to bounce much more than just that and some percussion tracks and one shot sound effects to run the rest of it fairly easily
Effects - MeldaProduction EQ, Autopan, Stereo Expander
Kjaerhus Classic Compressor, Delay, Reverb, Master limiter
Voxengo Span
Looking forward to the other submissions, best of luck to all
Jon

You can however simply turn your computer's date back if you need to render something.
