Diva compared to ACE?

How does DIVA compare to ACE? Is Diva sort of/kind of ACE's big brother? (Ace Deluce?)

No!
Completely different things. While DIVA has the sound of the classic synths and more Filters/Oscs etc. to choose from, ACE has audio rate modulations, it's own character and all kinds of other stuff like the mod mapper for example.
You won't get the some sounds out of DIVA and ACE
There will be a bigger version of ACE by the way (ACE XL)

It's also worth mentioning that with Diva the u-he team worked hard to model the quirks of real classic Big Name (tm) digital and analog synths.

ACE is more more like Zebra in that the components might be inspired by others but are not attempting to emulate anyone. Add in the fact that ACE has audio rate LFOs, Crazy FM options and the possiblity for spaghetti-wire-feedback-ringmod-loop mayhem and you have two different headspaces.

Now ACE and Bazille on the other hand share a lot more in common, but that's a different discussion.
