Hey that was my line..
Awesome case though..
Urs: Not often you see a developer giving hints how to bypass demo restrictions..
Doc: Cheers for the submission, sounds good as usual.
Gorgor: Sounds like a nice job you have there.

Look, the final version won't have a date check and I figure having to always and again set the date is too tedious to not upgrade to the final/full version in the endV'ger wrote:Urs: Not often you see a developer giving hints how to bypass demo restrictions..![]()

It may some true. But, really worry thing is preset problem. I made 30 Diva presets one weeks before until I get sm v2.0 preset problem(similar with Diva). I can't read 100 page Diva post. But I saw someone say Diva 360 is much differ (even better) with now Diva. I am worry about this. Will Diva good at one years later too? Though I got some money one years later, If I can't get similar my preset sound, or enough good sound on Diva, It will be useless. I hope Diva go her way not kvr way. Of course I guess Diva will good. But just I am worry about this.Urs wrote:I figure having to always and again set the date is too tedious to not upgrade to the final/full version in the end

We have mostly changed the cutoff from 360 to 400+. We've also doubled the range for CrossModulation. There's also some resonance a bit louder here and there.debby wrote:It may some true. Other than that they sound identical, and a setting from 360 can be adjusted. We've always posted that on teh website and elsewhere.
The current version (472) is final for sound. We might add a knob or two later, but it won't break presets.
As for 360 sounding better - that's because we have rescaled the drift/tune slop parameters on the "trimmers" page. Turn them up a bit and 472 sounds as thick as 360.
Cheers,

Just like to say that I finished my track after a decent hiatus from it. Same spiel as before. As few external FX as possible and only then for stuff that is pretty simple.
Basically,
TLs Pocket Limiter on the Master
From Variety of Sound: BootEQ MKII, NastyVCS, BaxterEQ, Density MKII, and EpicVerb
ReaEQ
Classic Delay
Modern Splitter (used to help widen out a sound, by increasing the stereo separation in two mixer tracks, well it sorta helped
)
Some automation to control the MW on two instances of Diva and volume.
Linky.
It is a pretty raw track and that was kind of the intention behind it.
Edit - Forgot to mention that I used 20 instances of Diva in the track.

Cool track! The sounds are fitting the music very good. Nice sound FX. I love the lead!!!Doc Jon wrote:Well, looks like I'll start the proceedings this month
Doc Jon - Eleventh Dimension
Host - Cubase 6
14 instances of Diva, 7 bounced to audio, 7 running 'live'
In fact once I'd sussed that the main pad sound was taking up 90% of my CPU power I didn't have to bounce much more than just that and some percussion tracks and one shot sound effects to run the rest of it fairly easily
Effects - MeldaProduction EQ, Autopan, Stereo Expander
Kjaerhus Classic Compressor, Delay, Reverb, Master limiter
Voxengo Span
Looking forward to the other submissions, best of luck to all
Jon

Sorry, I hope to ask one. Urs. about 360 and 472 preset problem. I can get smiler sound with less cutoff and more emphasis at Saw osc1 or square. But If I mix two same saw osc (not deturned), It sounds much differ. 360 sound is more resotic but hard. Am I right? and Is 472 right?debby wrote:Urs wrote: We have mostly changed the cutoff from 360 to 400+. We've also doubled the range for CrossModulation. V'ger,
Ah missed that, but it should be part of the group now! Thanks for reminding me.
Chacka,
I did post on either the first or second page the initial parts of the track. That was at the beginning of the month though. Anyway, glad you thought it was pretty cool.
