But he really has to sort out the bad patches and maybe many duplicates (There will probably be 4509345090 Moog leads).
Yep, quality over quantity please! :)

Perhaps put up the unabridged collection for dl in the u-he patchlib?

That would be the idea i guess. Howard could sort the patches in the factory sounds and we add the complete patches to the patch lib like already done.

Another way could be to check which patches are already included in the factory sounds and post another link with the remaining ones which could be added to the Patch lib.

BTW in future it could happen that i'll try to do a commercial add-on for Diva...

Also for non-awesome people ;). Just send 'em in!
Note: I will have to reject the patches I personally hate - it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it!
Talk about your taste then! Could make it easier to choose the right bunch from 700+ presets.
You can get a very good idea of Howard's taste by examining the Zebra Factory soundbank.

Removing the 14 other moog bass sounds that are nearly identical in timbre is one thing.. but revoking 'trance lead 1' or 'eno pad xa' because you don't like those styles is another. Hope it doesn't come to this.. we need a broad palette. :harp:

This is exactly what I was afraid of..

at least it will make 3rd party sound designers some $$$. Zebra is a prime example..

Yep, Zebra is a prime example where the factory patches cover a far broader spectrum than the narrow band of generic dance cheese that comes with so many synth plugins.

No worries, chaps. I'm aware that Diva is a very different beast. Selection has NOTHING to do with Zebra2 factory patches (which don't fully reflect my tastes in music or sounds). It will be the broadest possible palette, including Dance/Trance/Dubstep etc. sounds :)

Well... you're certainly showing your preferences in your response.

Much of the modeled gear was instrumental (pun intended) in 'dance cheese' so I certainly hope they're not left out... along with all other genres in which the gear was used.

Since you singled it out, I hope the 'dance cheese' patches that come factory with DIVA are labeled 'hakey techno bass' 'hakey trance lead' 'hakey goa 303' It would serve you right! :P :hihi:

Yeah, that is cool. We'll se how it will go. I'll add a few "test patches" to see how broad this palette will be. :hihi:
Just teasing Howard, everything is cool. This synth has to be sold by it's presets, too. :tu:

I hope to have at least a few presets for Howard to callously reject as no better than the random banging-on of a chimp. Also my chimp has a few (not many) that I don't think sound half bad.

Too bad... GRUDGING_ACCEPTANCE is not yet implemented in IMPS (according to section 8 of RFC 2795). ;)

This is funny, a recent patch I did has the name Monkey Typist

I just noticed I sent ALL my patches with my "signature" placed at the end (it's the way I'm used to). Do you go manage to go through nevertheless, or do I have to rename them all and send again?

Hi Fernando!
I haven't checked out your patches yet - so there is a possibility that I'll "callously reject" them ;) i.e. don't rename yet. I'll let you know (PM) tonight, OK? :)
