Is there a way to increase the grid to more octaves???

Hello, I'm playing with M4 right now, and I have discovered the MuDrum.
Looks very nice, but I don't understand the Element 3 : what is it for ? I have loaded a Muverb in it, but I don't find a way to remove it or rplace it ??

Still in MuDrum and I have another question : what are the 4 slots under the pads for ?
I have connected Pad 1 to slot 1, Pad 2 to slot 2, Pad 3 to slot 3.
I have loaded a wahwah fx on slot 1, and I can ear the wahwah fx when I play Pad1 , Pad 2, Pad 3 : why ?

Another Question : I have loaded the Musynth Stand in piano, and I have activated the OSC1 and chosen a waveform : I can't ear the OSC1, only the piano : why ????
Edit : I have found why : I have to select O1 on the Filter 1, but it's strange to me because Filter 1 is no activated....

Salut!
My guess would be that you have to turn on 'O1' in the Amplifier section (bottom left hand side).
If any of the filters is receiving audio from Oscillator 1, you have to turn that filter on in the amplifier section (Make sure 'O1' is turned off then or else you will have a dry signal mixed into the filtere signal).
If none of the above yields the desired result, we may have a bug.
The routing on MuSynth is kind of complicated to begin with but once you get it it all falls into place.

Yes you're right, it's better this way, but I don't understand why it also works with Filter 1, when the latter isn't activated...Bonteburg wrote:Salut!

Ohh and I think I may have found an unrelated bug - the little arrow thingies on the sides of the waveform window on the Oscillators of MuSynth - they don't work (or they shouldn't be arrow-shaped so as to suggest browser functionality).
Edit: The problem only exists on startup of a new MuSynth instance. Choosing any of the waveforms in the dropdown menu fixes it.

I have also found that if you don't activate Osc1 and Osc 2 in the Amplifier section, but you activate the RM (ring modulation) in this section (but RM is not activated itself), you can hear Osc 1 and/or Osc 2 (if they have been activated)...

I have to admit that the signal flow on MuSynth feels kind of complicated. Maybe the fact that you can separately route filters and generators all the way down to the amplifier section introduces a certain complexity. It definitely works though!pquenin wrote:Yes you're right, it's better this way, but I don't understand why it also works with Filter 1, when the latter isn't activated...Bonteburg wrote:Salut!

Just testing it and my word, I think you're right - routing Osc 1 through Filter 1 down to the amplifier affects the sound, even if the Filter isn't activated. Maybe it acts as an amplifier even when the filter functionality is turned off.

Please have a look at my little MuDrum manual, which you can download here:pquenin wrote:Hello, I'm playing with M4 right now, and I have discovered the MuDrum.

I cannot remember, if I have mentioned the racks in MuDrum...pquenin wrote:Still in MuDrum and I have another question : what are the 4 slots under the pads for ?

The "Slots" are racks, which can hold any kind of effects and the reason, why you can hear the wahwah effect on all the sounds is, that Rack 1( Slot 1) is the master rack to which the other ones are routed to...

Drag the module onto whatever you want to target it.funk01 wrote:Does anyone know where I can find the choose target module feature that used to be in the file section in M3.
