Thanx for the head up!mcnoone wrote:Hi Howard.
Due to the latest update (dec18) changing/fixing the Lfo's reset.
It has changed a lot of the patches attack, and behavior of the beta before it.
I noticed this, and have fixed them in my patch bank today.
Most I just needed to set the Lfo2 from "gate" to "single" to fix them.
I will email them updated in a bit.
It might be good to note to those that are submitting presets to make a final check with the newest beta. It doesn't change the sound/tone, but the attacks, and movements may react different to certain sounds.
I'd also suggest placing the important (in red) notes to the first post as well.
To all Diva factory patch contributors...THANK YOU!

I wonder on how the DIVA factory patches will be categorized.
I wanna have some patches featured within each!

We had long discussions today.3ee wrote:I wonder on how the DIVA factory patches will be categorized.

The original idea was to seperate mono and poly sounds, and have subcategories for bass, keys, pads, drums etc.
Every subcategory should have few enough prestes to not need scrolling in the patch browser.
But I didn't want subfolders, so we thought we just do global categories that conatin either mono or poly sounds.
That didn't work out because many people save basses as poly sounds etc.
So now we have 5 or so categories with all factory presets, plus a third party contributions folder with subfolders sorted by designer.
Cheers,

Just sent the patches!
Btw "Murciélago" may be a bull or a car's name, but it's also a common noun in Spanish meaning "bat" .. so I guess it's no problem using it ... like I did!

Hi Howard,
i just sent an email with my corrected presets (Beta 475 for Windows used). If for some reason it is not received here is the link for the presets:
https://rapidshare.com/files/1420892253 ... resets.zip
This could also be added to the Patch Lib if needed.
Best wishes,
Ingo

Sorry guys, I won't have enough time to update my patches with the latest beta. So, I won't be contributing to the factory sound bank.
I don't feel that any of my patches do a good job of showing Diva's best qualities anyway, so it's no real loss.

There's always room on the PatchLib when you finish them Justin.justin3am wrote:Sorry guys, I won't have enough time to update my patches with the latest beta. So, I won't be contributing to the factory sound bank.

Same here. I had hoped to find time to put together a bank of carefully tweaked old-school bread-and-butter patches, but medical issues take precedence. I'm in NYC seeing doctors!
Anyway, I'm greatly looking forward to hearing everyone's contributions. What an amazing group of talented synth programmers.
