Question about Zebra2

I downloaded the demo version about a week ago, and yeah I like it very much!
However I also downloaded the Diva beta and was so impressed (also by word of mouth from other people) that I purchased a license for it.

So, I haven't had the time yet to delve deep into neither Zebra2 or Diva, but from experienced people's point of view, would Diva replace Zebra2 or are they two completely different synthesizers?

What's the synth engine behind both synthesizers; programmed from ground up or Synthedit or something?

They're programmed from the ground up and they're completely different.

Hi Z

Two completely different synths with very different strengths...

Zebra2: audio clarity and *flexibility* - CPU-friendly
Diva: classic analogue sounds - CPU-hog, mainly due to zero-delay feedback filter (but worth it)

SynthEdit? You jest, Sir!

Great, thanks for the info, I guess it's settled then.

What planet you from son?

Don't think there is a better way to insult a great developer like Uhe, than by saying all that. :P

Why? - I wish I had written SynthEdit. I also wish I had invented AutoTune. I've even developed a MIDI sequencer on C-64 back then, but Gerhard Lengeling and Charly Steinberg had beaten me by 2 years.

Ok, I had the first Audio Unit with custom user interface.

Urs - have you had written SynthEdit, it would have been Mac and 64-bit compatible. :D

No insult intended, I was just curious. And for the hell of it, would I purchase licenses for Zebra2 and Diva if I was insulting it's creator?

I've only bought VSTi's from 'big' companies like NI, Spectrasonics, Korg, Arturia and Waldorf, and then only recreation of classic synths (Omnisphere being the exception), so I do not know what stirs in the segment u-he is in.
