What do you think of this?

90% complete - just trying to get the programme change buttons working (does Zebra accept programme change for presets??)

The idea is you have the 4 XY's for the main Zebra ZY but also an Über XY with another 3 balls to control them (or maybe x number? - I can set up a control to add and subtract balls) - plus 8 assignable sliders for anything you want (sliders work better than knobs I find on the touch interface). The XY's have physics set up so you can make the balls bounce and vary the speed, amount of friction etc

All multitouch of course :)

This is awesome
Really well done!
You have to put the patches you want to use with program changes in the "Midi Programms" folder :)

Yeah I'm not sure I have the right options set up for programme changes in Lemur - I've asked at the Liine forum as I'm a beginner at this. Also I'm wondering about changing the big XY for a vector XY if possible - the manual implies it may be

This is just practice for me

Looks nice! I just got the Lemur app yesterday and plan on spending some time over the holidays figuring it out. You'll be sharing this with us, right?!

Yes, but only with presets found in the Zebra2.data\Presets\Zebra2\MIDI Programs folder. Subfolders respond to bank changes and the presets within respond to PC messages. I find it's best to name presets like "001 Zebra Science\001 HS Asynth.h2p" so you know for certain what each bank and preset is numbered.

Consider it a work in progress - programme change is not working right yet and the bounce behaviour is a bit erratic

Looks extremely cool!

However, I haven't got a clue what it is. ;-)

Would you mind explaining to a dummie how to use it with Zebra?

Is it some kind of skin that needs to be installed somewhere? Or is it a program and if so, can it be used on a Mac?

Some dumbed down basics would be most appreciated.

EDIT: Sorry for the noise, should've looked closer at the file name. Don't have an iPad, not planning to get one…

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

I'm guessing this is for Lemur on iOS: http://liine.net/en/products/lemur/

Thanks for the heads-up! I hadn't even heard of Lemur, which somehow explains my clulessness…

No problem. If I had an iPad I'd definitely get that app. :)

OK made a couple of dumb mistakes in the first version and decided something more useful than the big XY would be 4 joystick style controllers as well as the bouncing ball controller as sometimes it's useful to have an XY that returns to centre. Here's version 2:

Still not managed to get the programme change to work yet - need some help from the Lemur forum

Updated - now with 4 bouncy XY's, 16 controllers and 2 joysticks and programme change should be working (thanks to some help from the Lemur forumites):

aMUSEd (or anyone else who uses Lemur for iPad and Zebra) -

It's coming up on a couple of years now. . Do you still use Lemur / iPAD with Zebra? There is a price drop now, and I am tempted to pick it up ( $38 instead of $50) - but not if it is something that has little or no use. I would like to automate the XY controllers... and Lemur seems to be just the ticket.

Thanks for any input!
